Indoor Training started again last week the 13 of Jan for the following Age groups

U10 Training Ballincollig Community School,
It was great to see such an enthusiastic bunch of girls back at
training last Friday night. Mossy and the gang got these great girls
going again after the Christmas break. Indoor training will continue
every Friday night from 8 - 9PM for the next five weeks. It's going to
be a busy, eventful and fun year for all the girls in the U10 squad
this year.

U12's Ballincollig Community School
Friday's 6pm –7pm (Frank/Linda)

U14's Ballincollig Community School

Manager: Philip O'Sullivan
Mentors: Aoife Cotter and Laura O'Leary
We are back training indoors, now in BCS, on Friday nights 7pm to 8pm.
Helmets and shin-guards are a must!
The indoor training is a great facility to our team, and not just
because we're not out on Sunday's mornings in the cold just yet!!!
There is a great tool on www.camogie.ie which looks at the Player
Pathway, the stages of development which each age group should be
involved in. The Player Pathway for 12 to 14 year olds focuses on
technical capabilities, tactical capabilities, physical capabilities,
mental capabilities, lifestyle capabilities and personal capabilities.
The Under 14 indoor training program involves different aspects of
each of the capabilities and will stand to us in our 2012 venture.
Well done to the girls on completing their second post Christmas
training. We've done circuit work, with Aoife and Philip adding in a
few tough stations. We had a great relay race, and the girls showed
that when it comes to a bit of friendly competition, each and every
one of them means business.
Girls don't forget your water and please tie those runners up properly!!!
