Frances Corkery from the U10 team wrote a small note for everyone
about the trip to Kilkenny on Sat 18th August to play at the All
Ireland Semi finals.
"Saturday was a great day, we were all wearing green for Ballincollig.
Once we arrived at Nowlan Park off the coach, we were waiting in the
stands for the game to begin, at last we were waving our flags for the
girls in red and every time they scored we cheered. At half time we
played our match against Killmora from Galway in front of a lot of
people. It was great to have some of the Cork team sign our hurleys,
thanks for a great day and we are looking forward to cheering on our
Cork girls in the final."
