The summer is eventually starting

We aren't talking about the weather either. Mind you things are going
to get hot on the camogie field pretty soon. We have nearly 100 girls
playing camogie at U8, U9, U10, U11 and U12 grades. All these girls
diligently turn up for training every Sunday. practice their skills,
take part in various blitzes and now have their chance to take part in
the County Board Summer leagues. Between now and August the county
board will run about 1200 go games and these brilliant Ballincollig
girls are ready to get stuck in to complete their fixtures so they can
take part in the big blitzes at the County Boards HQ in Castle Road in
August. We wish all these girls well in their respective games. Spare
a thought for the trainers who have to organise all the matches and
make sure the girls are in tip top shape for the summer. If any
parents feel like getting involved to help don't be backwards in
coming forwards. It would be great to get more people involved in
organising these games for these wonderful girls of Ballincollig
