Had yet another blitz last Saturday in mitchestown these girls don't
want any rest. In total we had 18 girls show up making up'2 teams ,we
played 3 games in total against Sarsfield, Castlelyons and' St
Flanagan's the weather was perfect for camogie and we were not short
on skill, Caoimhe Creedon scored a fab goal from a free on the half
way line, Amy Murphy and Abbie o Sullivan were in midfield and showed
great skill and team work with some excellent passing, Ellie Ronayne
was great in the backline and showed great determination in keeping
the keeper safe, well done girls the second group also played three
game against the same teams Daniela Quinn was great in defence she
also got the opportunity to played up forward helping Nichola Batt who
scored 2 fab goals Eanna o Connell and Eirka o leary played very good
together in midfield and cover a lot of ground sending plenty of ball
into the forward line, well done girls.
There is no rest for this group or their parents on Sunday the 22 a
day after the blitz bright and early the under 9/10 participated in
the tidy towns clean up in the village 26 girls and 16 parents took
part in this big clean up so well done and a huge thank you to the
parents for having the girls involved,(photos of the morning can be

might give ye a break this week from matches so ye can have a small
lie in, but don't forget training is Sunday at 12.15 see ye there.
